The rivalry between Jake Paul and Conor McGregor continues.
On Friday, Paul added another win to his growing boxing record, taking a unanimous decision victory over Mike Tyson in their heavyweight boxing match in Arlington, Texas.
The bout received a fair amount of criticism given the 31-year age gap between them but nevertheless Paul picked up yet another win and the question quickly turned to what comes next for the former Disney Channel star. And if he had his druthers, Paul appears to want to finally make his MMA debut — against Conor McGregor.
Following his win on Friday, Paul Tweeted at McGregor, throwing shade about a possible boxing match and instead lobbying for an MMA fight contested at openweight.
Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t

Paul and McGregor have gone back and forth for years, with Paul even repeatedly proposing facing McGregor in the UFC. Dana White hasn’t especially seemed interested in that though, and McGregor himself has yet to even return to competition since shattering his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. McGregor is expected to return to competition next year.
