Chris Eubank Jr. missed weight for his highly-anticipated showdown with Conor Benn, and he’s paying the price.
Eubank and Benn battle Saturday in the main event of Fatal Fury in London. During Friday’s official weigh-ins, Eubank missed the 160-pound weight limit by 0.2 pounds in his first attempt, then re-weighed at 160.05 pounds — missing the mark by just .05 pounds. As a result, Eubank was fined $500,000 (£375,000) per the “weight clause in his contract.”

“Show me the motherf*cking money,” Benn said.
Eubank also gave his reaction to things on his Instagram page.
“Pain is temporary… glory is forever,” Eubank wrote.
The grudge match between Eubank and Benn has hit many bumps in the road on the way to London, and at the moment, the fight still may be in jeopardy if Eubank can keep his weight under control. The 35-year-old is coming off of back-to-back knockout wins, while Benn has won all 23 of his professional bouts.
The 28-year-old Benn makes his first appearance in 14 months following a decision victory over Peter Dobson in February 2024.
