Irene Aldana’s healing ability is second to none.

As unbelievable as it sounds, it appears Aldana has recovered from the horrific facial cuts she suffered in her loss to Norma Dumont at UFC 306 this past September. Dumont opened up a large gash on Aldana’s face that was one of the most gruesome in recent memory and the Mexican fighter has been providing frequent updates on the status of her injury ever since.

Just two weeks after the fight, Aldana posted that her stitches had been removed. On Monday, she shared a seemingly miraculous update as remnants of the cuts have mostly healed up.

See photos below from Aldana’s Instagram.

In her Instagram Stories, Aldana credited Dr. Jesús Vázquez and his team for assisting with the cosmetic fix.

Aldana, a one-time UFC bantamweight title challenger, lost a unanimous decision to Dumont to drop her pro record to 15-8. No timetable has been given for her return, but if her latest update is any indication, Aldana will be ready to roll as soon as doctors clear her to compete.
