He hasnât lost since July 2020 and looks to make Asakura the next challenger to go home disappointed.
A two-time bantamweight champion in Japanâs RIZIN promotion, Asakura (21-4) looks to make history twice over as potentially the first fighter from his country to capture UFC gold and the first debutant ever to win a UFC title in the modern era. He has a tall task ahead of him, but Asakura holds notables wins over Kyoji Horiguchi and Manel Kape, as well as a recent knockout of former Bellator champion Juan Archuleta.
