Molly McCann’s first fight of 2025 is set.
On Wednesday, the UFC announced for additional bouts for UFC London on March 22 at the O2 Arena. McCann is set to face Istela Nunes in a strawweight contest at the event.
McCann looks to bounce back from her first 115-pound loss, a unanimous decision against Bruna Brasil at UFC 304 in July. “Meatball” entered the bout as a massive favorite following an emphatic first-round submission victory over Diana Belbita at UFC Vegas 85 in Feburary.
Nunes makes her fifth octagon appearance, but in search of her first promotional victory. Nunes has been stopped in three of four UFC losses, including a 34 second injury TKO loss to Victoria Dudakova in July 2023.
Other bouts added to the UFC’s U.K. return include a middleweight contest between Christian Leroy Duncan and Andrey Pulyaev, Alonzo Menifield vs. Oumar Sy in a light heavyweight bout, and Shauna Bannon facing Puja Tomar in a strawweight matchup.
