Marney Maxx, a one-armed mixed martial artist, is currently on an impressive run that continued on Friday.
At Shooto Brasil 126 event in Rio de Janeiro, Maxx faced Esteferson da Silva in a 165-pound catchweight bout on the preliminary card. With about 90 seconds left in the opening round, Maxx uncorked a head kick, followed by a clean right hand that had da Silva badly hurt. As da Silva was retreating, Maxx dropped him with a big right hand before ultimately getting the finish.

Maxx returned to action for the first time in over two years and improved to 6-4 as a pro. However, Maxx is currently riding a three-fight win streak, finishing all three opponents in the first round. After dropping three of his first four professional fights, Maxx is 5-1, stopping most of his opposition.
Da Silva, who made his pro debut for LFA earlier this year, drops to 0-2 as a pro.
