Robelis Despaigne may have found his true calling.

The three-time UFC veteran made his Karate Combat debut on Thursday — his first fight since getting released by the UFC earlier this year. Despaigne faced 6’10” striker Dominik Jedrzejczyk on the main card in Miami, and just needed a record-breaking four seconds to finish Jedrzejczyk to become the fighter with the fastest knockout in promotional history.

Check out the finish in the video below.

After winning his first four pro fights in just over five minutes total, Despaigne got his shot in the UFC, debuting at UFC 299 in March. “The Big Boy” lived up to his regional hype by delivering an impressive 18-second finish of Josh Parisian at the Miami pay-per-view event. The 36-year-old was not long for the UFC world as he lost his next two fights to Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Austen Lane, who both used grappling heavy game plans to earn their decision victories.

Despaigne officially signed with Karate Combat in November, and wasted little time making his mark on the promotion.
