Rukiya Anpo and Sina Karimian delivered insane scenes in their boxing match Tuesday morning at RIZIN Bangaichi, an event that preceded the NYE show RIZIN Decade in Saitama, Japan.
Anpo, who was gearing up to face boxing superstar Ryan Garcia in the RIZIN ring before the young boxer had to withdraw citing an injury, took on Karimian in an exhibition match, and they got into a brawl in the final round after Karimian threw an spinning punch.
The referee tried to intervene, but was hit three times. Anpo, a kickboxing veteran who has once boxed legendary Manny Pacquiao in Japan, landed a left hand to his head, and then experienced kickboxer Karimian connected a two-punch combo as they were separated.
The fight was resumed moments later, and Anpo won via unanimous decision with 60-54 scores across the board.
