French esports organisation Team Vitality has officially joined the Epic Games Creator Programme, announced in a LinkedIn post.

Thanks to the programme, Team Vitality will be able to earn rewards when fans make purchases in the Epic Games ecosystem through the organisation’s unique creator code.

This marks one of the first times Epic Games has introduced an esports team to its programme, allowing Team Vitality to receive additional resources for its growth. Financial terms of the programme, however, have not been disclosed.

The programme has usually been applied to individual content creators and streamers, earning at least 5% of the value of in-game purchases made using their Creator Code with a minimum of $100 USD payout. Each game has a different payout rate for attributed sales set by the game’s developer, but all games have a minimum payout rate of 5%, according to Epic Games’ blog page.

The announcement comes on the day Team Vitality’s Rocket League team will make its appearance at the RLCS Birmingham Major as one of the four European representatives at the tournament.

Epic Games currently owns Rocket League developer Psyonix, which was acquired back in 2019. In 2023, Epic Games made headlines when it announced major layoffs in the esports division of Rocket League. In 2025, Psyonix brought important changes to its competitive ecosystem, increasing its prizepools to a total of $5m (~£3.85m) and adding a one-versus-one tournament alongside the three-versus-three competitions.

Founded in 2013, Team Vitality is one of the biggest esports organisations in Europe. With competing teams across 11 different game titles, including the likes of League of Legends, VALORANT, Counter-Strike 2, the French organisation was recently confirmed as a partner team for the Esports World Cup Foundation Club Support Program, and is expected to receive financial capital to maintain its competitive efforts and bolster content.
