Tom Aspinall and Jon Jones might never actually fight each other, but that hasn’t stopped them from sparring over social media.

The trolling continued Thursday as Aspinall posted a pair of videos poking fun at Jones. In one, he teamed up with Brazilian jiu-jitsu star Craig Jones to parody Jon’s recent adventures in Thailand. A video of Jon recently went viral showing him riding on the back of a motorcycle while holding onto the driver’s hair.

Check out the Craig Jones version below.

In the clip, Aspinall tells Craig to get off of him, which prompts Craig to say, “Sorry, it’s a Jones thing.”

The video didn’t escape the attention of Jon Jones who replied in the comments, “Rent free” along with a coconut emoji and a palm tree emoji.

Aspinall didn’t stop there. He also shared an edited video of Jones playfully running away from a confrontation, with Aspinall in place of Jones’ would-be challenger and subtitles added to make it seem as if Jones is avoiding the interim UFC heavyweight champion.

All of this is in good fun, though probably not of much comfort to fans who want to see Jones either defend his undisputed title against Aspinall or vacate and let the division move on without him.

Jones claimed a vacant heavyweight title by defeating Ciryl Gane following the UFC departure of incumbent champion Francis Ngannou, and later defended it against Stipe Miocic. Aspinall became interim champion by beating Sergei Pavlovich, and then defended his share of the heavyweight throne against Curtis Blaydes.

Despite a unification bout being the logical end to this saga, Jones has not expressed any interest in meeting Aspinall inside the octagon.
