Ramiz Brahimaj scored a highlight reel submission win at UFC Vegas 107 after he snatched a nasty standing guillotine choke that eventually put Billy Ray Goff to sleep.
It was a second straight impressive performance from Brahimaj after he knocked out Mickey Gall in his previous outing and then took out Goff on Saturday night.
The finish came after Goff actually tried to employ his grappling but Brahimaj was quick to counter and he grabbed onto a ninja choke that immediately started to pay dividends. Brahimaj then transitioned to the standing guillotine choke and Goff tried his best to resist or break free but instead he ended up going to sleep before he got dropped to the canvas.

The end came at 3:16 in the first round.
“I heard you backstage when you said you think you’re Mike Tyson, you think you’re the Bronx bomber … this fight I was the Bronx boa,” Brahimaj said to UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier in the cage. “I feel like I’m home.
“I battled through a lot, mental barriers, injuries, changes, I was going to hang these gloves up two years ago … some words resonate with you and I’m here. I’m just in the moment. I’m grateful.”
The finish serves as the third guillotine choke finish for Brahimaj during his career but his first under the UFC banner.
The win moved him to 3-1 in his past four fights and Brahimaj also shouted out UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby for having continued faith in him despite some past shortcomings and keeping him on the roster.
That move has paid off with Brahimaj laying waste to his past two opponents with a pair of impressive finishes as he proves he’s going to be a threat to anyone in the welterweight division.
