The fan favorite fighter has racked up performance bonuses throughout his decade-long run inside the octagon, but now finds himself hanging around and facing tough competition on the fringes of the rankings. He is 2-3 in his past five fights, with a quick submission of Themba Gorimbo in his most recent outing.
In his relentless pursuit to be one of MMA’s most active athletes, Holland (27-13, 1 NC) fights for the third time in 2025. Holland has bounced between middleweight and welterweight in his career, and after suffering a loss to Reinier de Ridder in a 185-pound bout to begin his campaign, he rebounded with a unanimous decision nod over Gunnar Nelson in March. If he can beat Luque, Holland will string together consecutive wins for the first time since 2023.
