European esports organisation Alliance has expanded into The Finals esports ecosystem with the unveiling of a new roster.
The trio of Carnifex, Treason, and Palmag will represent the esports organisation in upcoming tournaments.
Alliance aims to qualify for The Finals’ inaugural Major event, taking place at DreamHack Stockholm from November 28th to 30th, 2025. The event is the first esports tournament supported by the title’s developer Embark Studios.
Qualifiers for the event are set to begin in September for APAC, North America, and EMEA regions, with the top teams earning a place at the closed qualifiers.
“When we were scouting for teams, Carnifex stood out immediately – clear goals and unshakeable mindset,” said Jonathan Berg, CEO of Alliance.
“Watching him, Palmag, and Treason develop as The Goats made the decision easy. We knew they had the potential to carry the Alliance name into a whole new arena.
The top 16 teams from the closed qualifiers will advance to the Major, competing for an opportunity to become The Finals’ first esports champion and securing the lion’s share of a $100,000 (~£75,497) prize pool.
Alliance enters The Finals esports in collaboration with ENGIMO, an in-universe sponsor. As part of the crossover, co-branded cosmetics will launch later this year along with a content series taking a behind-the-scenes look at the team’s in-game communications.
The Finals In 2025
Since its initial release date in December 2023, The Finals has slowly established itself as the latest first-person shooter title to embark on an esports initiative.
In addition to Alliance, other esports organisations are also expanding into The Finals. In July, ENVY unveiled its roster and became the first to join the title’s partner programme.
Notably, Embark Studios is yet to share details on the partnership programme and any other organisations that will be participating in the initiative.
