PUBG Mobile developer KRAFTON has announced the global launch of the Next Star Global Creator Recruitment (NSGCR) programme, a $6m (~£4.46m) content creator initiative open to influencers internationally.

Now active across eight regions, the programme offers an annual prize pool and exclusive in-game rewards to support and spotlight creators.

The programme is available to any aspiring and up-and-coming influencers, regardless of their following, and has already shared $3.5m (~£2.6m) in support since 2021. The NSGCR ultimately aims to provide tools, funds and exposure to creators who wish to be a part of the PUBG Mobile ecosystem.

With its global launch, the initiative expands to other major regions: this includes MENA, Western Europe, North America, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America and Africa

Participants are also incentivised with exclusive in-game rewards. In addition to exposure in and out of the game, creators will receive special titles, beta access and future collaboration opportunities. There are also annual awards in addition to the $6m prize pool to reward top creators with ‘standout contributions.’

How To Get Involved

The initiative does not require a certain number of followers. Instead, creators who apply must have published two PUBG Mobile videos in the past three months, agree to the terms of service, and adhere to regional guidelines.

Creators can apply through the official Creator Hub page on the PUBG Mobile website. There is also a Discord community available to join for those who wish to learn more about the programme.

There are also plenty of esports-related events happening this year for creators to get involved with or cover. The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 edition has already revealed its format, with schedule and prize pool expected at a later date.

The battle royale game is also likely to see future in-game events, such as the Attack on Titan collaboration update that was held back in May, 2025.
