Details surrounding the World of Warcraft (WoW) Creator Clash at Gamescom 2025 have been announced.

Top WoW streamers and influencers participate in various competitions, including competitive tournaments, to showcase the MMORPG. Running from August 20th to 22nd, 2025, the creator event will take place at the WoW booth at Gamescom in hall eight, with broadcasts on Twitch and on YouTube.

According to WoW’s viewer guide, three events will take place during Creator Clash: Arenas, Dungeons and Housing. Here’s a look at all three competitions taking place.

WoW Creator Clash: Arenas

The Arenas showcase will begin on August 21st at 10:00 AM CEST/ 1:00 AM PDT. For fans that are unaware, Arena is a deathmatch-style PvP mode in which teams of players compete against each other.

The Creator Clash event is a competitive showdown that features four teams, comprised of the top players from Arena World Championship (AWC) Season 2. These teams will face off in a 3v3 double-elimination bracket for the global championship title.

These are all the teams participating:

Speedrunning Event: Dungeons

The Dungeons event starts at 13:00 PM CEST / 4:00 AM PDT on August 20th. It is a speed running event where four teams from various regions race to complete the new Mythic+ dungeons from the Ghosts of K’aresh content update.

Two teams will face off in a best-of-three series within a single-elimination bracket, ending with a best-of-five finale. There will also be a bonus showcase of the new Archival Assault Delve, featuring three captains from each region playing in a relay race.

This form of competitive event is perhaps the closest to WoW’s most popular esports discipline, Race to World First. Typically held when Blizzard releases a new raid, Race to World First is a competitive event that sees top World of Warcraft guilds aim to complete the raid in the fastest time possible.

The most recent winner of Race to World First was North American organisation Team Liquid in March. As of this writing, the next Race to World First, Manaforge Omega, is currently underway.

Design Challenge: Housing

Housing is the third event taking place in the Wow Creator Clash, featuring two shows. The first will take place on August 20th at 10:00 AM CEST/ 1:00 AM PDT, and the second show will run on August 22nd at 20:00 PM CEST / 11:00 AM PDT.

In the most casual of the competitions, four creators will face off each day, designing interiors using the WoW Housing feature in a race against the clock. Each round will bring a unique theme, including in-game lore, characters, cultures, and more.
