In Asia Ignite Stage 1, Gen.G ended the tournament as runners-up after losing 3-4 to REJECT in the Grand Finals. Come the Ignite Mid-Season Finals, and Gen.G became the first team to be eliminated after losing to ENVY 0-2 in the Play-In Stage.

Gen.G have been invited to Ignite Stage 2 based on its Stage 1 performance. Exact dates for the competition have yet to be revealed, but it is expected to take place between September and October. However, as of writing, Gen.G have yet to announce replacements for the roster.
