100 Thieves has announced a collaboration with manga and anime series Demon Slayer, set to launch on September 5th.

While details have yet to be revealed, fans can receive 15 minutes of early access to the collection on the esports organisation’s official website.

100 Thieves was founded in 2017 by retired Call of Duty pro player Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag. The North American esports organisation currently competes in various titles, including VALORANT, League of Legends and Call of Duty.

This year, Thieves further expanded into VALORANT Game Changers and Marvel Rivals and signed its first fighting games player, Sean ‘Shine’ Simpson.

Describing itself as a ‘premium lifestyle brand for the gaming generation’, 100 Thieves combines esports with entertainment and a dedicated apparel offering. For instance, the company launched a collection with adidas Originals in May, featuring Gold Medallist and gamer Noah Lyles.

Moreover, 100 Thieves is not new to collaborating with popular media and anime. In 2022, the organisation made waves with its Attack on Titan merchandise collection, which was accompanied by a video featuring Co-owner Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter and VALORANT personality Kyedae ‘kyedae’ Shymko.

Last year, 100 Thieves also collaborated with the iconic anime and gaming franchise Pokemon.

What Is Known About the Collab So Far

Its upcoming Demon Slayer drop was announced on August 29th and appears to be facilitated by anime distributor Aniplex of America.

100 Thieves’ collaboration announcement likely refers to Demon Slayer’s Infinity Castle Arc, which will be covered via a compilation of films similar to the Mugen Train Arc. The first film, titled Infinity Castle – Part 1: Akaza Returns, is scheduled for worldwide release in September this year.

Demon Slayer is one of the best-selling manga series of all time, illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. Set in Japan’s Taishō era, the story follows teenage boy Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps in the hopes of defeating the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji, and turning his younger sister, Nezuko, human again.

The inaugural season of the Demon Slayer anime was published in 2019 and has since gained recognition for its high-quality animations and soundtrack.
