Team Liquid has unveiled a branded bus that will be used in Hamburg, Germany, throughout The International 2025.
From September 11th to 14th, 2025, the custom-wrapped bus will act as a free shuttle for fans attending Dota 2’s season-ending event.
In addition to transporting fans to Hamburg’s city centre and the Barclays Arena, the bus will also feature a fan mural that encourages passengers to share their stories on the vehicle, creating a piece of artwork that evolves as the tournament progresses.
Described as a Team Liquid fan hub, the bus will offer fans opportunities to purchase exclusive merchandise and earn limited-edition rewards alongside participating in ‘surprise interactive activities’.
Information on the rewards and activities taking place will be posted on the organisation’s social media channels while the activation takes place.
Team Liquid was one of 16 teams competing at The International 2025, the fourteenth edition of the annual Dota 2 esports tournament operated by Valve and PGL.
However, the team failed to qualify for the Playoffs after losing to Tundra Esports in the elimination round. Still, it will remain involved with the tournament through its fan activation.
Esports organisations are no strangers to hosting large-scale activations when events take place near their home locations. French esports organisation Team Vitality will host fan activations during VALORANT Champions Paris, taking place from September 12th to October 5th.
The International 2025 Rolls On
Following the conclusion of the group stage and the elimination round, attention turns towards The International 2025’s Playoffs, which take place from September 11th to 14th at the Barclays Arena.
The eight remaining teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket to determine the eventual champion and the team that earns the lion’s share of the $2.5m (~£1.8m) prize pool.
