Gaming peripherals brand Logitech G will be joining forces with European esports organisation G2 Esports for Logitech G PLAY 2025.
Taking place on September 17th at 18:45 CET, the event will include a panel hosted by G2 that focuses on the broader challenges and opportunities for women in esports.
Logitech G PLAY will be held at G2’s headquarters in Berlin and will be broadcast on Logitech G’s YouTube channel.
This year’s edition of Logitech’s annual product showcase is themed around the importance of diversity, inclusion, and empowerment in esports and gaming. This includes celebrating ‘Breakthrough Moments’ in play and highlighting the company’s latest products, designs, and innovations.
The event will also go live on the Twitch channel of G2 Gozen player Michaela ‘mimimimichaela’ Lintrup, who will be one of the featured female figures in the conference.
Joining the panel with her will be esports talent and host Laure Valée, influencer and content creator Athena ‘Kitty‘ Jiang, and fellow G2 Gozen player Petra ‘Petra‘ Stoker. The panel will also feature a Q&A from the live audience.
Logitech G and its Wide Presence Across Esports
As a gaming-focused brand, Logitech G partners with several esports organisations across the globe. Aside from G2 Esports, the brand also supports the likes of BiliBili Gaming, Karmine Corp, DRX, and Berlin International Gaming, among others. The latest addition is Brazilian esports organisation FURIA, which was announced earlier in June.
Aside from sponsoring teams, Logitech G has also sponsored esports events this year, such as Logitech G Rivals, a Rainbow Six Siege X tournament with a LAN event in Australia, and the Logitech McLaren G Challenge Grand Finals Summer Season, a Forza Motorsport competition featuring a $50,000 (~£36,607) prize pool.
G2 Esports, on the other hand, has been making headlines in recent times after strong competitive results across several game titles. The organisation made it to the VALORANT Champions Tour in Paris after winning the VCT Americas Stage 2, qualified for the League of Legends World Championship, and won its first Tier-one Counter-Strike 2 tournament of the season at BLAST Open London.
