FlyQuest crowned LTA 2025 champions

FlyQuest has won the League of Legends Championship of The Americas (LTA) 2025 Championship after beating Vivo Keyd Stars in the Grand Final.

The North American esports organisation also becomes the final team to win an LTA event, as it was revealed that the competition will be reverting back to its LCS and CBLOL ecosystem. Interestingly, FlyQuest was also the last ever LCS champion before its rebrand to the LTA in 2025.

After taking victory at the LTA North Split 2 Playoffs, FlyQuest began its LTA 2025 Championship campaign in the upper bracket. The team swept aside Vivo Keyd Stars in its opening upper bracket match, securing a place in the Grand Final at the earliest opportunity.

Vivo Keyd Stars battled past 100 Thieves in the lower bracket final with a 3-1 win, setting up a rematch with FlyQuest to determine the best League of Legends team in the Americas.

FlyQuest kicked off the Grand Final in emphatic fashion, taking the first two matches of the best-of-five series to move one away from another sweep.

Vivo Keyd Stars answered back in game three to reduce the deficit, but a dominant performance from controversial figure Gabriël ‘Bwipo’ Rau in game four wrapped up a 3-1 victory, cementing FlyQuest’s place as the Americas’ top team.

After dominating the first and only LTA season, FlyQuest’s attention turns to the season-ending World Championship, where the team will be looking for a strong showing on the international stage.

The team was the highest-placing LTA roster at the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), scoring a top-six finish following a thrilling five-game series against Bilibili Gaming in the event’s lower bracket.

FlyQuest is one of 16 teams that have qualified for the Swiss Stage of Worlds, taking place from October 15th to 25th, 2025. Teams that score three wins across the five rounds will qualify for the Knockout stage of the tournament, running from October 28th to November 2nd, with the Grand Final taking place on November 9th.
