Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 2 is heating up as the Group Stage concludes across various regions, and the best teams move on to the Playoffs.

From EMEA to Asia, the top teams in each region will compete for the lion’s share of a $250,000 (~£187,350) prize pool and earn a place in the Ignite Grand Finals later this year.

EMEA Playoffs

The EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region was the most recent competition to enter the Playoffs, as eight teams now face off in a double-elimination bracket.

Notable teams that have been knocked out include the recently debuted FUT Esports, which bought the All Business roster ahead of Stage 2, placing fifth in its respective group. Al Qadsiah is also another notable team that was eliminated, placing sixth in its group overall with a 1-2 win/loss ratio.

These are all the EMEA teams that have progressed to the Playoffs:

  • Citadel Gaming
  • chopped
  • insomnia
  • OG Seed
  • Virtus.pro
  • Natus Vincere
  • PHASE
  • Vice

Teams to keep an eye on include Natus Vincere, which signed the Ignite Mid-Season Finals champion roster. So far, it has placed second in its respective group, ending with a 3-1 win/loss ratio.

Virtus.pro is looking to make a huge comeback after previously missing out on the Mid Season Finals. The roster has returned to Stage 2 with vengeance, topping its respective group with a 4-1 win/loss ratio, though only time will tell if the roster can successfully qualify for the Grand Finals.

The top-performing team so far is Citadel Gaming, which signed the EMEA Stage 1 champions, topping its group with a 5-1 win/loss ratio. As it stands, it is the team to beat.

Asia Ignite Stage 2 Playoffs

Asia Stage 2 has seen four teams eliminated from the tournament, and eight rosters proceed to the Playoffs.

These are all the Asia teams that survived the Ignite Stage 2 Group Stage:

  • Crazy Raccoon
  • XOXO01
  • ONSIDE GAMING
  • Incipience
  • REJECT
  • Gen.G Esports
  • Downpayment
  • Zero Tenacity

Crazy Raccoon previously missed out on the Mid Season Finals after placing third in Stage 1. However, it is currently the best-performing team in the tournament so far, placing first in its group with a 5-1 win/loss ratio. It has been a standout team ever since it won the Pacific PC division of the Season 3 Championships.

The Asia Stage 1 champions, REJECT, have also shown no sign of slowing down since the Mid Season Finals. It has entered the Playoffs with a 4-1 win/loss ratio under its belt, outperforming teams like Gen.G Esports and Zero Tenacity.

Ignite Stage 2 Oceania

Oceania may have the fewest number of teams competing, but the competition is just as fierce as four teams exit the tournament, and four others make it to the Playoffs.

The Oceania Stage 1 runners-up, The Vicious, have been knocked out of the competition, meaning it is all to play for in pursuit of the single qualification spot for the Ignite Grand Finals.

These are all the teams competing in Oceania’s Ignite Stage 2 Playoffs:

  • Kanga Esports
  • Ground Zero Gaming
  • ChopperMag
  • Vulcan Red

Ground Zero Gaming, the Oceania Stage 1 champions, has successfully survived the Group Stage with a 2-1 win/loss ratio. However, with ChopperMag and Kanga Esports topping both groups, the competition for the Grand Finals spot remains fierce.

Other Regions

The Americas and China have also seen major updates. America’s second week of the Group Stage is set to begin on October 2nd, and Ignite Stage 2 in China recently concluded.

Over in China, OUG became the Ignite Stage 2 champions after defeating Aconyx 4-1. Both teams have been confirmed to be the first successful participants of the Ignite Grand Finals.

Americas, so far, has seen teams like Sentinels and 100 Thieves gain an early lead, with other rosters like DarkZero at risk of elimination. Only time will tell which teams from Americas will survive to the Playoffs.
