The World Series of Warzone Global Final 2025 is the final stop in the Activision-sanctioned esports circuit for Call of Duty‘s battle royale title.
Following regional finals and last-chance qualifiers for the Americas, Asia Pacific, and EMEA, 50 teams have secured a place at the Global Final taking place on October 1st in Las Vegas, Nevada.
While the likes of Team Falcons and Twisted Minds look to add another trophy to their collection, several teams will be looking to end the season on a high.
Before teams drop into the action, Esports Insider previews one of Call of Duty: Warzone‘s biggest esports tournaments to see which trio can take the top spot.
Can Team Falcons Defend The Title?

Since 2024, Team Falcons has cemented itself as one of the world’s best Warzone teams, frequently appearing near the top of the scoreboard in high-profile events.
After taking home 2024’s World Series of Warzone title, the trio of ‘Shifty‘, Andrew ‘Biffle‘ Diaz, and Kasimili ‘Soka’ Tongamoa will look to end the year with a title defence after scoring a fifth-place finish at the Esports World Cup in August.
Known for high levels of aggression, Team Falcons could face some tough opposition from the likes of Twisted Minds and Virtus.pro, two North American powerhouses that can clip the wings of the Falcons.
Twisted Minds’ Time To Shine
Since entering Call of Duty: Warzone esports in June 2024, Twisted Minds has become a household name within the battle royale title, thanks to recruiting some of the biggest names within the esport.
The trio of Aydan ‘Aydan‘ Conrad, Riley ‘zSmit‘ Smith, and Benjamin ‘Almond‘ Rosendahl have achieved plenty of success throughout the year, winning the eFuse Verdansk Relics of the Past and the Nadeshot Verdansk Invitational in May.
In August, Twisted Minds won 2025’s Esports World Cup, taking home $250,000 (~£185,795) in prize money, with zSmit earning the event’s MVP award.
During practice, the trio has constantly battled Team Falcons at several points of interest on Verdansk. Expect the two sides to contest each other in the early stages of matches once action gets underway.
A European Contender?
After launching its Warzone division in April 2025, French esports organisation Gentle Mates has recruited Europe’s top trio, which has all the ingredients required to compete against the North American teams.
Having made it to the Esports World Cup through the online qualifiers, the all-French roster surprised many with a second-place finish, scoring Europe’s best placement at an international tournament.
The World Series of Warzone Global Final features a slower pace of play than the Esports World Cup, thanks to the inclusion of the Verdansk map. However, the coordination of Gentle Mates will place the French side in contention for outright victory when the final circle closes in.
World Series Of Warzone Global Final 2025 Predictions
The unpredictable nature of Call of Duty: Warzone’s esports scene makes the World Series of Warzone Global Final 2025 tricky to predict, with several teams capable of building a sizeable points lead in the opening drops.
With the likes of Twisted Minds, Gentle Mates, Team Falcons, Virtus.pro and Gen.G all capable of performing at the highest level, the Global Final is set to be one of the most competitive Warzone events of the year.
Based on recent form, there’s a possibility that Twisted Minds can achieve outright victory. Its aggression, paired with supreme gun skill, gives the team everything required to end the Black Ops 6 era of Warzone at the top.
