The 2025 holiday season marks the 35th anniversary of the release of Home Alone, the hallmark Christmas comedy written and produced by John Hughes and starring Macaulay Culkin.

To commemorate the film on most annual holiday must-watch lists, Culkin is crisscrossing the country on the “A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin” tour. The holiday circuit is coming to Atlantic City on Dec. 7 at Ocean Casino Resort’s Ovation Hall.
Following a special screening of the beloved holiday classic, released 35 years ago on Nov. 16, 1990, a moderated interview with Culkin himself will be accompanied by an audience Q&A session.
Relive the film’s iconic moments on the big screen, then enjoy behind-the-scenes stories, favorite memories from filming, and Culkin’s insights into why the movie remains a timeless favorite. Perfect for fans of all ages, this one-of-a-kind evening promises laughter, nostalgia, and holiday spirit in an unforgettable experience,” the event listing reads.
The movie starts at 4 pm on that Sunday.
Tickets for “A Nostalgic Night” begin at $45.85, the price of inclusive of all taxes and Ticketmaster fees. For the ultimate Home Alone and/or Culkin fan, select orchestra-level seats with a VIP meet and greet package quickly sold out for several hundred dollars each.
Culkin Fame
Culkin is among the most popular and famous child actors in US entertainment history. Along with his Home Alone and Home Alone 2 fame, Culkin starred in the 1991 blockbuster My Girl. The 1993 psychological thriller, The Good Son, was another Culkin box office smash.
Culkin was the highest-paid child actor in entertainment when he took a hiatus from Hollywood in 1995.
Culkin begins his 14-stop Home Alone tour on Nov. 22 in Long Beach, CA. The actor pledges to dish about his on-set experiences and memories, his personal favorite parts of the film, and his take on why Home Alone has become such a momentous part of the holiday season.
Atlantic City Entertainment
Atlantic City is roaring, with in-person casino revenue up almost 3% through August, or $53.2 million more gaming revenue from physical slots and table games for the nine properties.
The New Jersey casino town is amid a comeback, with big-name acts and headliners drawing in visitors. Along with Culkin, the casinos have a smorgasbord of great entertainment lined up for this fall and winter.
