Team Secret has released Sha ‘ZesBeeW’ Mohtar, Brheyanne ‘Wild0reoo’ Reyes and Nguyễn ‘n1zzy’ Tấn Thành from its VALORANT roster.
As a result, only two members from its VCT 2025 roster, Adrian ‘invy’ Reyes and Kelly ‘kellyS’ Sedillo, remain with the organisation.
Though primarily known for its Dota 2 and Counter-Strike activities, Team Secret has been competing in Pacific’s VALORANT esports scene since signing the former Bren Esports roster in 2021.
However, the organisation has only attended two international tier-one tournaments so far: VALORANT Champions 2021 and LOCK//In São Paulo in 2023.
Similarly, Team Secret has suffered early elimination at every VCT Pacific competition this year (Kickoff, Stage 1 and Stage 2), winning only two out of its twelve total matches.
The disappointing results already prompted the team to make significant roster changes mid-season. Following the conclusion of VCT Stage 1 in May, Team Secret parted ways with James ‘2GE’ Goopio and benched Jeremy ‘Jremy’ Cabrera, who has since moved on to Japanese organisation REJECT.
Moreover, the squad’s former in-game leader (IGL) Jessie Cristy ‘JessieVash’ Cuyco went on hiatus to focus on streaming.
More Roster Changes For Team Secret
“Today we wish farewell to ZesBeeW, n1zzy and Wild0reoo,” announced Team Secret earlier today.
“This iteration of the Adobo Gang felt like a family to us, but unfortunately did not work out. We wish them the best ahead, hoping to see them on stage again soon.”
ZesBeeW and n1zzy had joined Team Secret in May, while Wild0reoo had been with the team since May last year.
Rumours about ZesBeeW’s departure from the roster had already begun circulating in October, when the player shared that he was exploring other options as a free agent.
