German esports organisation GamerLegion has announced a partnership with online casino and sportsbook LEON.Bet.
Announced on October 23rd, 2025, the deal will see the two parties collaborate on a range of exclusive content and new activations. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
LEON.Bet becomes the fifth partner of GamerLegion, joining the likes of Counter-Strike 2 skin trading platform Skin.Club as part of its portfolio.
The sportsbook is no stranger to the world of esports. In May 2024, LEON.Bet entered a partnership with Swedish esports organisation 9INE, becoming its official online betting partner.
Best known for competing in Counter-Strike 2 esports, GamerLegion also competes in Age of Empires esports. Since 2020, the organisation has fielded a roster in the strategy title, which won the World Desert Championship 2 event in 2021.
Currently ranked 15th in October’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS), GamerLegion’s CS2 team is one of 32 that have qualified for the StarLadder Budapest Major. Taking place from November 24th to December 14th, the team begins the tournament in Stage 1 with the aim of securing a place in the Playoffs.
Esports And Betting
Throughout 2025, several betting companies have expanded their presence into the esports industry.
In July, French esports organisation Team Vitality secured a seven-figure deal with Stake, becoming the international betting partner of its CS2 roster.
Elsewhere, Norwegian esports organisation HEROIC joined forces with Razed to sponsor its main and academy CS2 rosters.
Outside of partnering with organisations, companies continue to expand esports betting offerings, providing consumers with a greater range of options when gambling on events.
Earlier this month, solutions provider BEBTY increased its player props coverage across CS2, League of Legends, Dota 2, and VALORANT.
