Rainbow Six Siege X developer Ubisoft and tournament organiser BLAST have announced that this year’s R6 South American League (SAL) Regional Finals will take place in São Paulo, Brazil.
Six teams will compete from December 4th to 7th, 2025, for both the lion’s share of its €100,000 (~$116,510/£87,240) prize pool and a place in the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris.
The Regional Finals will be split into two phases, with all matches played on LAN at the Oca venue in Ibirapuera Park. The event will feature a double-elimination format with BO3 matches, concluding with the Grand Finals.
South America, in particular, stands as a strong region for the scene and is home to some of the best teams in the Rainbow Six Siege X esports scene. These include the 2025 Six Invitational champions FaZe Clan, and RE:LO:AD 2025 winners FURIA.
Six teams have qualified for the Regional Finals through the seasonal SAL standings, which also determined the seedings. These are:
- Upper Brackets
- W7M Esports
- Ninjas In Pyjamas
- FURIA
- FaZe Clan
- Lower Bracket
- Team Liquid
- LOUD
Ticket information for the tournament will be revealed on November 3rd, 2025. Those who cannot attend in person can still watch the matches occur live through the official Rainbow Six Twitch and YouTube channels.
What To Expect from the Six Invitational
The SAL Regional Finals is one of many events offering a guaranteed spot in next year’s crowning event. Spots are also up for grabs in the Europe MENA League, North America League, and Asia Pacific League Regional Finals.
Another spot will also be offered in the Munich Major taking place from November 8th to 16th, 2025.
The Six Invitational 2026 in Paris, France is the culmination of the 2025 season. This is where the best team in the world is decided, before kickstarting the next year of R6 esports.
The competition runs from February 2nd to 15th, 2026, and will feature 20 teams from around the world. Teams qualify through the Regional Finals, the Regional Last Chance Qualifiers, the Munich Major and the top-ranking organisations from the Global Point Standings.
