M7 World Championship tickets, format and Carnival event revealed

MOONTON has revealed the tickets, complete format, and a carnival event for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M7 World Championship.

Set to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, next January, tickets will go live on November 2nd at the official website, with an early bird discount of 20% available until November 30th. M7 marks a return to Indonesia for the M World Championships since 2022’s M4 event.

This time, M7 has been moved to January instead of its usual time frame in December due to the SEA Games in Thailand, where MLBB is among the medal events.

The M7 World Championship will begin with the Wildcard Stage from January 3rd to 6th, 2026. This stage features eight teams from new or emerging regions.

In this, the teams will be split into two even groups and compete in a single round-robin format, with the top two from each advancing to the next stage. This stage will see the winner of each group face the second-placed team from the other group. The winner of each match will make it to M7’s Swiss Stage.

The Swiss Stage will happen from January 10th to 17th at the MPL Arena XO Hall. The 16 teams must secure three wins across five matches to qualify for the Knockout Stage.

Finally, the Knockout Stage will feature a double-elimination bracket. The earlier stages will continue at the MPL Arena XO.

The later stages, including the Grand Finals, will move to the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan, GBK, from January 21st to 25th. These matches will follow a best-of-five format, except for the Grand Finals, which will be a best-of-seven series.

The tournament features a total prize pool of $1m (~£757,000), with the winner walking away with $320,000 (~£242,000).

Besides the Knockout Stage, MOONTON is hosting the M7 Carnival from January 23rd to 25th at the Stadion Madya GBK.

This fan festival will have separate tickets and includes live performances, watch parties, creator meet-and-greets, and an all-new M7 Talent Show. MOONTON has said that it will be revealing more information about the Talent Show soon.
