Sentinels has announced the departure of Jordan ‘Zellsis‘ Montemurro from its VALORANT roster.

The American player served the organisation for over two VCT seasons and also made a small yet impactful appearance in 2022. The announcement follows the release of Sean ‘bang‘ Bezerra.

With over four years of competitive VALORANT experience, Zellsis is the oldest player in VCT Americas. However, he is best known for his energy on stage and his performance in clutch situations, winning his team countless rounds through presence of mind.

“He saved Sentinels. We’ll miss you Zellsis,” Sentinels said in the announcement.

Zellsis first came into the limelight when he was with Version1, notably for his personality and firepower. He then moved to Cloud9 before being picked up by Sentinels. 2024 was the most successful year of his career, during which he lifted the Americas Kickoff and Masters Madrid trophies.

“We accomplished so much in 2 years, and I’m forever grateful for this chapter with Sentinels,” shared Zellsis on X (Twitter).

“The happy times, the sad times, the angry times, all of it was worth the journey, and while it may not have ended the way we hoped, I’m glad it all happened. Thank you for everything SEN city!”

2025 was a decent season for Sentinels, securing second-place finishes at Americas Kickoff and Stage 1, and reaching the top three at Stage 2. However, the roster couldn’t achieve similar success at international events, with Champions Paris seeing the team fail to win a single series.

Which Team Zellsis Will Join Next?

At the moment, no official announcement has been made regarding Zellsis’ next destination. However, according to trusted leaker Alejandro ‘Anonimotum’ Gomis, he has reached a verbal agreement with Cloud9, where he previously spent a year before joining Sentinels.

When it comes to Sentinels, its CEO Rob Moore revealed that the organisation is trialling its academy team players to find the best possible combination. However, the replacements for bang and Zellsis have not been revealed at the moment.
