Riot Games has revealed that the music icon Anyma will feature as the Co-Creative Director and performer for the League of Legends Worlds 2025 opening ceremony.
The performance will be livestreamed on Sunday, November 9th shortly before the tournament holds its Grand Finals match to decide the winner of the season.
Anyma, the solo venture of electronic music producer Matteo Milleri, has gained acclaim for fusing techno music with digital art and immersive visual experiences.
Anyma will perform live on stage in Chengdu, China, alongside renowned singer, G.E.M, who will be singing this year’s World’s anthem. This year’s anthem is called ‘Sacrifice’ and celebrates the 15th anniversary of the MOBA game’s esports scene.
The performance will be broadcast across the official League of Legends esports channels on YouTube and Twitch for fans unable to attend Worlds 2025 in person.
Opening ceremonies have become an annual tradition for League of Legends’ biggest esport event, featuring various iconic anthems over the years including Rise (2018) and Warriors (2014) by Imagine Dragons.
