GodLike Esports and S8UL Esports are facing visa issues ahead of their appearance at the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025.

Ahead of the event, both Indian esports organisations have revealed that several players have encountered problems when attempting to obtain visas for the tournament taking place in Katowice, Poland.

On October 30th, 2025, GodLike Esports stated that four of its players don’t have visas to enter Poland due to a lack of appointment availability. As a result of most of its starting lineup being unable to travel, the organisation is at risk of missing the event.

The organisation is one of India’s top Call of Duty Mobile teams. In 2023, it finished second at the World Championship, cementing its place on the international stage.

In addition to Godlike Esports, S8UL Esports is also at risk of missing this year’s World Championship. Three of its team members are still waiting to secure visas, with one player securing an appointment on November 4th, three days before the tournament begins.

“This is an important global esports event, and we request your kind assistance to help India participate at the World Championship,” said Siddhant ‘Sid’ Joshi, Team Manager at S8UL Esports.

Visa Issues in Esports

GodLike Esports and S8UL Esports are not the only organisations to encounter problems when securing visas to attend international events.

In May, Argentine esports organisation BESTIA was replaced by Legacy at the BLAST.tv Austin Major due to issues obtaining the documents required to enter the United States.

Taking place from November 7th to 9th, the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025 is the season-ending event for the mobile shooter title.

GodLike Esports has been drawn into Group A alongside EOCHITL Gaming, Amigos Gaming, and defending champions Elevate. S8UL Esports features in Group D with TLE Esports, B34R Clan, and Qing Jiu Club.
