Esports World Cup 2025 winner Aydan ‘Aydan‘ Conrad has joined Gen.G‘s Call of Duty: Warzone roster for the upcoming season.
The player’s signing finalises the roster of Gen.G, which expanded into Call of Duty’s battle royale title in September.
Aydan finalises Gen.G’s roster for the upcoming season after representing Twisted Minds during the 2025 season. The player joins Rhys ‘Rated‘ Price and World Series of Warzone champion ‘Lenun’ on the roster.
Before switching to Call of Duty: Warzone, Aydan competed in Fortnite tournaments between 2018 and 2021, establishing himself as one of North America’s top talents with frequent appearances in high-profile events.
Since switching to Warzone on a full-time basis, Aydan has cemented his place among the best players in the world. In addition to his Esports World Cup victory, he scored a ninth-place finish at the World Series of Warzone 2025 Global Final, taking home $30,000 (~£22,534) in prize money.
Gen.G made its debut at the World Series of Warzone 2025 Global Final with the trio of Rated, ‘Natedogg,’ and Callum ‘ScummN‘ Taylor. The team finished the tournament in 20th place, scoring 70.8 points across the event’s eight maps.
Gen.G In 2025
Outside of Call of Duty: Warzone, Gen.G has continued to expand its presence across various esports titles around the world. In July, it joined forces with Manchester City to launch GEN CITY, a co-branded team competing in FC Online tournaments.
Alongside its esports rosters, the organisation’s education initiatives continue to provide opportunities for students. October saw it partner with 13 universities from across the United States as part of the Practicum Abroad programme, a three-week initiative for students to study the South Korean esports ecosystem in Seoul.
The signing of Aydan to its Warzone roster is a statement of intent for Gen.G, which has assembled a roster armed with a wealth of experience capable of competing at the top of the battle royale’s esports circuit.
