NEW YORK — Just two more sleeps until Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, and Teofimo Lopez all make history.
Friday will feature an unprecedented event in boxing history when Fatal Fury: City of Wolves takes place in the iconic Times Square in New York City. Billed as a “triple main event,” the headliner features Ryan Garcia taking on Rolly Romero for the WBA regular welterweight title, the co-headliner features Ryan Garcia squaring off with Jose Ramirez in a catchweight bout, and the featured bout showcases Teofimo Lopez against Arnold Barboza Jr. in a WBO super lightweight title fight.
On Wednesday, all six of Friday’s top boxers took part in a pre-fight press conference, and while things got heated between Garcia and Haney during the presser, the faceoffs afterward were much more cordial, with no drama spilling over.
