Conor McGregor reportedly punches man twice in new video from Ibiza club

UFC superstar Conor McGregor reportedly got into an altercation during a visit to a nightclub in Ibiza where he was caught on camera punching another patron.

The video first released by The Sun allegedly shows McGregor talking to a man before the situation escalated when he unleashes two punches that knocks down the unknown person. Security immediately intervened before the situation escalated any further.

The incident allegedly happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

McGregor’s representatives declined to comment on the altercation when reached by MMA Fighting on Tuesday.

Per the original report, the person who got punched by McGregor was removed from the nightclub while the 36-year-old fighter was allowed to continue partying. Police didn’t get involved at the scene and no arrests were made.

Of course, McGregor has found himself in hot water over his behavior outside the cage plenty of times during his career, which includes an infamous incident in 2018 when he attacked a bus along with some of his friends after an altercation with future opponent Khabib Nurmagomedov. McGregor was eventually arrested by New York police before pleading no contest to disorderly conduct.

McGregor was also charged with assault in his native Ireland back in 2019 after he was caught on camera punching an older gentlemen at a bar over a separate altercation. He eventually plead guilty and paid a fine.

It’s been more nearly four years since McGregor last set foot in the UFC octagon after he suffered a gruesome broken leg in his previous appearance back in 2021. Following his recovery, McGregor was booked to fight Michael Chandler in 2024 but a broken toe prevented him from competing.

Since then, McGregor has turned his focus towards his partial ownership in BKFC where he’s become one of the faces of the bare-knuckle fighting promotion and also announcing plans to run for President of Ireland.
