Ilia Topuria’s overwhelming confidence for UFC 317 continued into his final faceoff with Charles Oliveira, and his interview on stage with Joe Rogan.
Topuria and Oliveira battle it out for the vacant lightweight title in the main event of Saturday’s pay-per-view event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Both fighters successfully made weight Friday morning ahead of the highly anticipated clash, before facing off at the ceremonial weigh-ins.

Topuria was asked by Rogan what the fight means to him, and “El Matador” says it will be one-way traffic, and he’ll become a two-division champion.
“You’re going to see one of the greatest performances of all-time tomorrow,” Topuria said. “Another domination. Another finish. We are going to make history once again, so tune in.”
Oliveira finally gets his chance to become a two-time lightweight champion. While “Du Bronx” feels confident in the matchup, he took a different approach for his final thoughts.
“The lord’s word has always spoken to me and I felt the lord’s word all throughout the week,” Oliveira said. “Everything has been perfect, and everything has been working.
“Let me tell you something: I’m ready for him. It’s going to be a great fight, great show tomorrow night. I’m ready for this.”
