TL;DR

  • Disclaimer: This article combines confirmed details with industry speculation. We’ll update it regularly as new info or leaks emerge.
  • The Simpsons Fortnite Collab is rumoured to arrive on November 1
  • Supposedly a four-week-long ‘mini-season’, it’s believed it will follow Chapter 6 Season 4
  • A poster featuring a Simpson’s iced donut with bug sprinkles is reportedly in Utopia City as a hint
  • Rumours suggest a ‘Reload’ sized 40-player pop Simpsons map could be arriving
  • Simpsons characters, items, and weapons are very likely to feature in any collab.

While the list of Fortnite collaborations is exceptionally long, a Fortnite Simpsons collab is one we’ve yet to see. That appears set to change, with leaks suggesting that the residents of Springfield will be coming to Battle Royale island before the end of 2025. So ready those sprinkled donuts, because we’re going to cover everything we’ve seen so far about the rumoured mini-season.

As Epic Games looks to build back in a year where lower player counts have been witnessed, an iconic Fortnite x The Simpsons partnership could be a winner with fans. What’s included in such a partnership, when it may be, and what else may be expected, is purely speculative until announced. We’re going to examine all of these aspects, though, as there’s more than a bit of information floating about online.

What is Fortnite’s Simpsons collab?

According to rumours, the Fortnite Simpsons collab will bring the cartoon’s well-known characters, including the titular family itself, to Battle Royale island. Alongside characters and new skins, Simpsons-themed items and changes to the island would likely be included (just like any other collaboration). A Simpsons-focused battle pass, and even a reimagining of Springfield, is possible.

However, as we write, the rumoured mini-season is yet to be confirmed. That’s despite a mounting pile of rumours thanks to data miners and prolific leakers who continue to reveal details, timings, and graphics that point to specific details about a partnership between Fortnite and The Simpsons. Will Simpsons come to Fortnite? It appears increasingly likely.

When could it happen?

All rumours currently point to the Fortnite X Simpsons collab being at the end of Chapter 6 Season 4, after the supposed ‘bug invasion’ story arc. The Simpsons mini-season is then believed to begin on November 1. That’s according to several prominent leakers, including coverage by FortniteBR on X. On July 29, FortniteBR posted: “The Simpsons Mini-Season arrives November 1st! #Fortnite.”

The above text is accompanied by what seems to be an unofficial image of Homer Simpson holding a bag of chips and opening a Duff beer, alongside the Fortnite logo, which is coloured in the Simpsons’ shade of yellow. Of course, once the Chapter 6 Season 4 battle pass end date is confirmed, we’ll have stronger evidence for the next season’s start date… if it is The Simpsons.

Rumours and leaks

Any Simpsons collab is rumoured and yet to be confirmed by an official Fortnite account or spokesperson. Still, when it comes to the Fortnite X The Simpsons latest leaks, these add weight to a rumour that has been suspected for at least several months. Posts across social media and on Reddit (like this one by FortniteLeaks) have been offering more than a hint of credibility that the collab was a done deal.

More recently, a post on X (formerly Twitter) by leaker HypeX covered Chapter 6 Season 4 leaks. However, the post included a single bullet point referencing the mini-season, stating: “Simpsons Mini-Season starts right after it [C6S4]”. That’s not to say we only have leaks to go on. According to a July 25 video by Fortnite YouTuber Nerpah called Fortnite’s *SIMPSONS* BATTLE PASS was REVEALED!, there’s a hint in Fortnite on the island right now.

At this point in his video, Nerpah reveals that a poster in one of the big skyscrapers in Utopia City features a Simpsons-style donut with pink icing and sprinkles, and the words “Tongue Tickling Crunch”. Although we haven’t seen this in-game ourselves, the shown donut’s sprinkles are in the shape of insects, which would seem to link to the supposed bugs arriving in C6S4.

As with previous collabs, what appears to be key to a Fortnite Simpsons crossover is changes to Fortnite’s BR map. As the island is believed to be in a reality bubble, any subtle, destructive, or, let’s face it, wholesale changes to the island are par for the course. So could Springfield materialise after a bug-led cataclysmic event?

Possibly. According to leaker Loolo_WRLD, the mini-season will get its own small map, “that has the size of a Reload map” with a 40-player pop, and there will be map changes each week for the duration of a four-week season. What those changes are hasn’t been suggested, but it could be that Simpsons POIs like (and of course, we’re speculating) Springfield Elementary, or the Kwik-E Mart, make an appearance in Fortnite.

Conclusion

Many signs and leaks would lead us to believe that a Simpsons collaboration in Fortnite is now far more than just smoke. We don’t yet know it’s definitely coming, because Epic Games doesn’t comment on rumours and normally only confirms a theme and battle pass at the launch of that specific season.

Nonetheless, it appears that The Simpsons may be coming to a mini-season at the end of Chapter 6 Season 4, potentially on November 1, and the battle pass and usual theme-led content changes to the map, items, characters, and skins will surely reflect the occasion of such a collab. This writer will keep his eyes open for a donut or two in the meantime. In-game, of course.
