Marvel Rivals Season 3 Championship is underway, offering another chance for players to compete for in-game rewards and the lion’s share of a $14,500 (~£10,802) prize pool for each region.

Running from August 9th to September 7th, 2025, here is the schedule and format for Marvel Rivals’ fourth seasonal Championship event.

The Championship will take place across four major regions: EMEA, Americas, Pacific, and China. There will be PC and Console divisions running simultaneously, though China will only hold a PC tournament.

Everything kicks off with the Open Qualifiers, running from August 9th to 10th, 2025. It features a Swiss System, where teams play up to 10 Bo1 matches. Out of 512 teams, the top 128 move on to Double Elimination, while the rest move on to the Closed Qualifiers.

Season 3 Championship’s Closed Qualifiers run from August 16th to 17th, and will repeat the same rules as the previous stage until the top 128 teams have been decided.

The Double Elimination will be held from August 23rd to September 7th, 2025. In a double elimination bracket, rounds one to nine will be Bo3, 10 to 14 will be Bo5, and both the Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals will be Bo7.

Why Participate?

Anyone can participate in the Championship and have a shot at winning the grand prize of $6,000 (~£4,468), so long as they are part of a faction and are ranked Platinum three or above. Other in-game rewards are also up for grabs, such as nameplates, sprays, titles, banners and more, with variations depending on overall placement.

Top performers of the previous Seasonal Championships also qualified for Marvel Rivals Ignite. However, Season 3 will not have the same opportunity this time around. Stage 2 invited teams have already been decided based on the results of Ignite Stage 1 and the Season 2 Championship.

All regional matches will be broadcast on both the official Marvel Rivals YouTube and Twitch channels, in a similar fashion to previous esports events.
