PUBG developer, Krafton, has revealed details for the upcoming PCL Fall Split tournament, where the top 24 teams in China will once again go head-to-head to decide the best among them.
The competition will run from September 2nd to 28th, with ¥3m CNY (~$420,000/£312,000) prize pool up for grabs.
Schedule
The PUBG PCL Fall Split will be divided into two stages: the Regular Season, which includes the midweek and weekly finals, and the Playoffs, both of which will use the S.U.P.E.R point system. In this system, teams earn points based on the number of kills (one kill equals one point), and overall placement in a match.
The first week will see the mid-week competition on September 2nd, 4th, and 5th, followed by the first week Finals over the weekend on September 6th to 7th.
The second and third weeks will see similar schedules to one another, with the mid-weeks occurring from Wednesday to Friday, and the Finals happening over the weekend.
Finally, the Playoffs will be a three-day weekend event from September 26th to 28th, concluding the Fall Split.
Format

The 24 competing PUBG teams will be divided into three groups (A, B and C) in the first week, which will be adjusted over time depending on the results of each weekly Finals. The midweek round-robins will have the following order: A&B, B&C, and A&C.
The top 16 teams with the highest number of points gathered will advance to the weekly Finals. Once the Finals conclude, inheritance points will be distributed based on ranking. Only the top 16 teams from the Regular Season will proceed to the Playoffs in the final week.
In the Playoffs, the total number of inheritance points from the Regular Season will be carried over, which will impact the final rankings. There will be three rounds, each with six games for 18 in total, where teams will be able to earn points. Once all rounds are completed, the final rankings will be determined by the total points accumulated.
After the Fall Split, the top 21 teams will keep their PCL qualification, while the bottom three will be relegated to the PCLP.
