The Marvel Rivals Championship for Season 3: The Abyss Awakens has concluded for all regions, with four winners decided in the Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China.

The seasonal tournament ran from August 9th to September 7th, 2025, and saw both established organisations and casual factions go head to head for the lion’s share of $14,500 (~£10,735).

PC Winners of the Season 3 Championship

These are all of the PC winners for the Marvel Rivals Season 3 Championship:

  • Pacific – Crazy Raccoon
  • EMEA – Virtus.pro
  • Americas – Dreamland
  • China – Aconyx

It is important to note that unlike previous seasonal Championships such as Season 2: Hellfire Gala, the winners did not earn a direct qualification to the Ignite tournament. Only a share of the prize pool, with first place earning $6,000 (~£4,440), was awarded.

EMEA

In the EMEA region, Virtus.pro emerged as the victor after winning 4-0 against faction Chopped in the Grand Finals. It showed a very strong performance throughout the tournament, winning 3-0 in both the Upper Bracket Quarter-finals against Revived and Semi-finals against Al Qadsiah.

It is the first significant win for Virtus.pro since Ignite Stage 1, where it failed to qualify for the Mid-Season Finals after being knocked out by Citadel Gaming (Brr Brr Patapim). Defeating Chopped, a roster that defeated the Mid-Season Finals winning roster, Team1, in Project Night Shift, is perhaps a sign that Virtus.pro is making the ultimate comeback.

Americas

Americas saw Ignite Stage 1 teams like Ergo Death, Team Nemesis and Shikigami compete. However, it was the faction Dreamland that managed to secure the win. After DarkZero forfeited its matches against Dreamland and Shikigami, the faction went on to win 3-0 against Team Nemesis in the Upper Bracket Finals and 4-3 in the Grand Finals.

Dreamland has become more active in the esports scene since Season 3 began. On top of the Championship, Dreamland also appeared in Project Night Shift, defeating FlyQuest in the challengers match but losing to ENVY in the finals. Dreamland will also compete in Ignite Stage 2 as a potential dark horse after winning the Open Qualifier #1 tournament.

Pacific

Crazy Raccoon came out on top in the Pacific region, the same team that placed third in Ignite Stage 1 Asia. The team itself dominated in the Upper Brackets, winning 3-0 against Vulcan Red in the Semi-finals and 4-1 against XOXO01 in the Grand Finals.

Some of Asia’s top teams, like Gen.G Esports, have undergone significant roster changes ahead of Ignite Stage 2. As a result, Crazy Raccoon has a strong chance of qualifying for the Ignite Grand Finals if it can continue the momentum showcased so far.

China

Aconyx has been a standout team in China’s esports scene. The roster initially lost to ASEAN LOONG 2-3 in the Upper Bracket Finals, clawing its way back by defeating FIST 3-0 in the Lower Bracket Finals. In the end, the roster claimed revenge by winning 4-1 in the Grand Finals. The team is also set to appear in Ignite Stage 2 China, potentially facing off against Stage 1 champions OUG.
