Gen.G Esports has announced its newly assembled Marvel Rivals active roster ahead of Ignite Stage 2.

False, Felix, Hoodie, and Monzter join Gen.G after the organisation parted ways with four players from its original roster back in August.

This is Gen.G Esports’ new Marvel Rivals roster and their designated roles:

  • Choi ‘Brownie‘ Min-gi – Duellist
  • Sin ‘CHOPPA‘ Sin Jae-hyeon – Vanguard
  • Jung ‘Snake‘ Rae-won – Strategist
  • Nick ‘False‘ Wiseman – Vanguard
  • Park ‘Felix‘ Min-hyeong – Strategist
  • ‘Hoodie‘ – Duelist
  • Salvatore ‘Monzter‘ Donato – Vanguard

Some of the players are accomplished esports athletes. Felix has played for a number of organisations, including Ex Oblivionne in the EMEA region, while Monzster played for Citadel Gaming’s original roster in the North America scene.

During the first stage, the original roster placed runners-up in Stage 1 Asia after losing 3-4 to REJECT in the Grand Finals. In the Mid-Season Finals, Gen.G Esports became the first team to be eliminated after losing to both ENVY and Nova Esports during the Play-In Stage.

Only time will tell how Gen.G Esports’ new roster will fair during Ignite Stage 2, and if it will reach the LAN Grand Finals event.

Marvel Rivals Roster Changes Ahead of Ignite Stage 2

Gen.G becomes the latest organisation to undergo roster changes within the Marvel Rivals esports scene. Several rosters have seen revisions ahead of Ignite Stage 2 across the regions.

Ignite Stage 1 EMEA champions, Citadel Gaming, announced that it had signed a member of the Mid-Season Finals champion roster, Adam ‘Meliø‘ Jensen.

A major development considering the players original roster, now competing as Team1, is still in search of an organisation to sign with. Furthermore, Rad Esports has opted to enter the Americas scene with a new roster under its helm.

The Ignite Stage 1 Americas champions, Sentinels, recently unveiled a new duellist,  Jilani ‘Avery’ Bouajila, to its roster after letting go of three members from its original line-up.

While some organisations have restructured teams or introduced new ones, others have left the Marvel Rivals ecosystem altogether. Earlier this month, Season 2 Championship EMEA winners, Ex Oblivione, announced that it had disbanded its Marvel Rivals roster.
