BIG (Berlin International Gaming) has extended its existing partnership with Counter-Strike skin marketplace SkinBaron.

The marketplace will continue to support the German esports organisation’s Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) rosters.

The extension marks the sixth year of the partnership between BIG and SkinBaron, which first started in December 2019. In February 2023, the two parties extended the deal until 2025.

SkinBaron’s logo will continue to feature on the jerseys of BIG’s main, academy and women’s Counter-Strike teams as they compete in online and offline events across the world.

“I am incredibly pleased and grateful that we are extending our long-standing partnership with SkinBaron,” said Daniel Finkler, CEO of BIG.

“SkinBaron has been a vital part of our journey for over six years, both during successful and challenging times. We are proud to move into the future together with such a loyal and authentic partner.”

For BIG, extending its SkinBaron partnership is a continuation of a growth period for the organisation. In September, it partnered with GreenMedical and Four 20 Pharma to run a range of education-focused activations.

Founded in 2016, SkinBaron is one of the largest Counter-Strike skin marketplaces in the world, attracting over 2.5m users buying and selling items. In addition to being a jersey sponsor of BIG, the platform was an event partner during the BIG Overtime Party, which took place during IEM Cologne 2025.

BIG In 2025

Over the past nine months, BIG’s main roster has struggled to establish consistency across the tournaments it has competed in. In Tier 1 competition, the team scored top 16 placements at IEM Katowice and IEM Melbourne, along with a top-14 finish at PGL Astana and a top-24 at IEM Cologne.

As a result of disappointing performances, the organisation has made changes to its roster, with David ‘Prosus’ Hesse earning a promotion from its academy side.

Currently ranked 45th in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), BIG sits outside of the top 32 as the cutoff for the Budapest Major moves into view.

Throughout September, the team is set to compete in several Tier 2 tournaments, including the Betclic Clash Summer and Urban Riga Open events to earn valuable VRS points and attempt to secure a place at the Major.
