TYLOO, 3DMAX, and Legacy have become the latest teams to be eliminated from FISSURE Playground 2.

The trio of teams scored a win-to-loss record of 1-3 during the Counter-Strike 2 event’s Swiss stage.

After securing a 2-1 victory over The MongolZ in its opening match, the French side of 3DMAX aimed to cement its position among the top ten teams in global Counter-Strike with an appearance at the Belgrade Arena.

Narrow margins saw 3DMAX struggle to cash in on a 1-0 map advantage against FaZe Clan, handing the team its first loss of the tournament. Defeats to GamerLegion and Virtus.pro sealed the 1-3 record and an early trip home, despite showing signs of real potential against some tough opposition.

Team Liquid Rides Again

Team Liquid’s dead team buff continues to guide the side through a highly competitive Swiss stage as the organisation’s Major hopes hang in the balance.

The team secured a 13-10 victory on Ancient to take an early lead over the Chinese side, but the FISSURE Playground 1 champions didn’t go down without a fight, taking Inferno 13-9 to level the series.

A late resurgence from TYLOO on Mirage teased overtime, but Team Liquid’s offensive prowess shone through, taking the map 13-8, with the departing Russel ‘Twistzz’ Van Dulken topping the scoreboard with 21 eliminations.

Astralis Advances

Emil ‘Magisk‘ Reif’s return to Astralis continues to prove fruitful as the Danish organisation overcame Legacy in its round four match.

Strong defensive holds from the Danes managed to fend off any Legacy offence, with Astralis dominating the second half of Nuke with nine unanswered rounds to move to a 2-2 record.

What’s Next?

Following the conclusion of the latest Swiss stage matches, the focus now turns to the fifth and final round of matches, which will determine the final playoff teams.

Fans can tune into the action live, exclusively on FISSURE’s Kick channels.
