Team Vision has won the World Series of Warzone Global Final 2025, becoming the first European team to win the season-ending event for Call of Duty‘s battle royale title.

The trio of ‘Lenun,’ ‘Echo,’ and Ethan ‘Fifakill‘ Pink topped the final leaderboards, scoring 153 points across eight games.

Team Vision’s Road To Victory

Team Vision kicked off the Global Final with a 29th-place finish before bouncing back in game two with second place and 16 eliminations to secure a place towards the top of the leaderboards.

Fourth and third place in games four and five continued to build momentum heading into game six, which saw Team Vision take a victory with 11 eliminations. A 19th place in game seven was enough to reach the 125 Match Point threshold, giving the trio its first opportunity to take outright victory in game eight.

In game eight, all three members of Team Vision remained in the final circle, quickly eliminating any remaining players to round off a 13-elimination game and lifting the trophy. As tournament victors, Team Vision secured the lion’s share of the $1m (~£740,835) prize pool, taking home $300,000 (~£222,309).

In addition to Team Vision winning, the Global Finals were dominated by Europe. French esports organisation Gentle Mates continued its momentum from the Esports World Cup, taking second place while Team BDS rounded off the podium in third.

Biffle Announces Retirement

The 2025 edition of the World Series of Warzone also marks the end of an era. During the competition, Team Falcons player and two-time champion Andrew ‘Biffle‘ Diaz has announced his retirement from the esport.

Biffle confirmed the news before the opening match took place during the broadcast, bringing an end to a five-year career. He is widely regarded as one of the best Warzone players in the world, having won the World Series of Warzone in 2023 and 2025 along with victory at the Esports World Cup in 2024.
