Japanese esports organisation DetonatioN FocusMe (DFM) has announced that it is recruiting VALORANT players, coaches and analysts ahead of VCT Pacific 2026.

The organisation shared that it has ambitions to qualify for VALORANT Champions in the next season, and so is in search of applicants with ‘high competitive ability’ and a ‘strong passion for winning’.

Candidates can sign up for the job opening through the DFM VALORANT 2026 member application form. Certain guidelines must be met depending on the role, for either player or coach/analyst.

Players must be 18 and over as of January 1st, 2026. They must be ranked Radiant and above, have no experience in cheating, and have ‘sufficient’ tournament records or similar achievements. Applicants must be able to secure a visa to stay in Korea, and must be able to communicate in Japanese.

Coaches share a lot of the same requirements, but there is no age or ability requirement, nor do they need to be of a certain rank within the game.

It is mandatory for successful applicants to stay in the permanent gaming house in Seoul, South Korea, during tournaments. There is no nationality requirement for the recruitment.

The esports organisation will contact those who have successfully passed document screening during the recruitment process for interviews and try-outs.

DFM in the 2024/2025 Season

DetonatioN FocusMe recorded disappointing results this season in the VALORANT esports scene.

The roster kicked off the year by placing sixth out of 12 teams in the VCT 2025 Pacific Kickoffs, missing out on Masters Bangkok and the chance to earn valuable VCT points.

Later in April, it was amongst the first two teams to be eliminated from VCT Pacific Stage 1 after placing at the bottom of its group with a 0-5 win/loss ratio.

It ended the season by placing seventh in the VCT Pacific Stage 2 tournament, outperformed by other teams such as Paper Rex and Rex Regum Qeon, and failed to qualify for VALORANT Champions in Paris.
