With every regional league wrapped up, all 18 teams for the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2025 have been confirmed.
The FFWS Global Finals 2025 will take place from October 31st to November 15th in Jakarta, Indonesia. The tournament has a prize pool of $1m (~£744,000) on the line.
SEA
Just like last year, SEA has the highest number of teams at the 2025 FFWS Global Finals. The top eight teams have qualified, along with EVOS Divine, which booked its slot by winning the Free Fire tournament at the Esports World Cup (EWC) last summer.
- EVOS Divine
- Team Falcons
- Heavy
- RRQ Kazu
- Buriram United Esports
- All Gamers Global
- GOW
- P Esports
- WAG
While EVOS Divine will head into the competition looking to replicate its EWC performance, Team Falcons is a squad to look out for.
As the champions of SEA, Team Falcons has had a great year regionally. However, in the EWC – Free Fire Grand Finals, the team couldn’t show that performance, finishing in 6th place despite winning the Knockout Stage just days earlier.
Brazil
The Brazilian representatives at the FFWS Global Finals 2025 are as follows:
- Team Solid
- E1 Esports
- Fluxo
Brazil is considered one of the strongest regions for Free Fire esports — alongside SEA. In fact, Fluxo will head into the FFWS as the defending champion.
Other Regions
- LATAM: Rainbow7, Nova Legian Red Hawks
- Bangladesh: Red Cliff
- Pakistan: Hotshot Esports
- MEA: Clear Vision Esports
Among these, Latin America’s Rainbow7 is a squad to look out for. The team revamped its roster earlier this year and has put up some surprising performances throughout the year.
Most notably, R7 placed second in the Points Rush stage of the EWC, showcasing that the team has what it takes to win. With the FFWS Grand Finals being a single-day affair too, Rainbow7 could pull off a few surprises.
Notably, India hasn’t been given a slot at the FFWS Global Finals, despite the region’s return to esports this year.
FFWS Global Finals 2025 Format
The FFWS will begin with the Knockout Stage from October 31st to November 9th. Teams will be divided into three groups of six, with two groups playing at a time. Each team will play a total of 24 matches. The top 12 will advance to the Grand Finals.
Finally, the Grand Finals will take place at the Indonesia Arena, which has a capacity of 16,500, on November 15th. It will follow a Champion Rush format.
This means that once a team reaches 80 points (the Champion Rush Point), any match they win next will make them the champions. If no team wins after reaching it by the end of eight matches, the team with the most points overall will be crowned champion.
All matches will be broadcast live on the Free Fire Esports YouTube channel.
