Riot Games has announced that Pick’Ems has returned for the League of Legends Worlds Championship 2025.
Pick’Ems is a prediction challenge that allows fans to submit guesses on how teams will perform at the international tournament to earn in-game rewards.
Players can choose to take on the challenge solo or join a community faction with friends, professional players and content creators. The faction with the highest average score, achieved through successful guesses, by the end of the event, will receive a unique emote themed after the champion Anivia.
Pick’Ems will also allow for various predictions to be made through its Crystal Ball event, available on Riot Games’ League of Legends Esports website. Categories include which champions are picked the most, which players will stand out, and which teams will advance through the event.
Picks for the Swiss Stage are open from October 7th to 14th, 2025, with predictions for the Knockout Stage running from October 26th to 28th.
Five unique Worlds emotes and an esports-themed capsule are up for grabs during Pick’Ems. Placing within the top 25% of predictors will also reward an exclusive emote. The top 5000 highest-scoring users will also be awarded the Worlds 2025 Xin Zhao skin. Finally, the lucky few who score a perfect Pick ‘Ems will be rewarded with every ultimate skin in League of Legends.
These performance-based rewards will be transferred to eligible users’ accounts on November 11th, 2025.
What Else to Expect at Worlds 2025?
The League of Legends World Championship 2025 is the crowning event of the season, seeing 17 of the top teams from across the world compete for the lion’s share of a $5m prize pool.
Starting from October 14th, the event will take place across multiple stages in China, with games held in Chengdu, Shanghai, and Beijing.
Fans can support the event in several ways beyond the Pick’Ems challenge. For example, Riot Games launched several bundles for the community to pick up, including the Worlds Unlocked 2205 Collector’s edition and the Riftbound Worlds Bundle for its upcoming TCG.
