The Group Stage of the Marvel Rivals Ignite Grand Finals at DreamHack Atlanta has concluded after three days of intense matches.

The top eight teams advancing to the Playoffs have been decided, while the bottom four have been eliminated from the competition – including Mid Season Finals runner up ENVY.

Esports Insider breaks down the third round of matches during the Group Stage of Marvel Rivals‘ crowning event of 2025.

All Matches Played

October 29th saw the last ten matches played to conclude the Group Stage, as teams fought in a last-ditch effort to secure a place in the Playoffs.

These are the day three results of the Marvel Rivals Ignite Grand Finals:

  • Group A
    • ChopperMag 2-0 REJECT
    • Virtus.pro 2-0 Aconyx
    • ENVY 1-2 ChopperMag
    • REJECT 2-1 DarkZero
    • Virtus.pro 2-0 ENVY
  • Group B
    • Crazy Raccoon 2-1 OUG
    • FlyQuest 2-1 Natus Vincere
    • Citadel Gaming 2-1 OUG
    • 100 Thieves 0-2 FlyQuest
    • Crazy Raccoon 2-0 Natus Vincere

Following the results of the Group Stage, ENVY, Crazy Raccoon, Aconyx and OUG have been eliminated from the DreamHack tournament, each receiving $25,000 (~£18,750) in prize funds.

The Best of Group B: FlyQuest Face Natus Vincere

On October 28th, the second round of Group Stage matches concluded with both FlyQuest and Natus Vincere topping Group B. On the third day, the two teams faced off to decide which among them was the best.

FlyQuest secured first blood after winning 2-1 on Birnin T’Challa, but Natus Vincere struck back with a decisive 3-1 victory on Hall of Djalia. The final map, Midtown, was ultimately won by FlyQuest after defeating the EMEA team 1-0.

FlyQuest ends its Group Stage run without suffering a single defeat, outperforming other teams such as Stage 2 Americas champions, 100 Thieves, and Stage 2 China champions OUG.

The Final Showdown: Virtus.pro Defeat ENVY

The last match of the day saw Virtus.pro face off against ENVY in Group A. By this stage, Virtus.pro had already secured a spot in the Playoffs thanks to its strong performance, while ENVY’s elimination was all but confirmed.

Regardless, it was a highly anticipated match between two of the most popular teams in the scene. However, Virtus.pro prevailed after winning 2-0 on Krakoa and 2-1 on Hall of Djalia.

The Stage 2 EMEA champion, Virtus.pro, ended its Group Stage run on a high, topping the group with a 5-0 win/loss ratio. On the other hand, ENVY’s early exit came as a shock to fans and commentators alike, marking a major upset for the organisation.

What to Expect From the Playoffs

The top eight teams will fight in a double elimination bracket for a place in the Grand Finals, competing for the lion’s share of a $1m prize pool.

The first match will begin on October 31st, 2025, at 15:00 GMT. All games will be livestreamed on the official Marvel Rivals YouTube and Twitch channels.

The Upper Bracket Quarterfinals will see some exciting matches: including Virtus.pro against 100 Thieves, FlyQuest against DarkZero, Natus Vincere and REJECT, and ChopperMag playing Citadel Gaming.

So far in the tournament, Virtus.pro and FlyQuest have proven to be the strongest teams, having yet to suffer a loss heading into the next stage. Only time will tell whether either team can continue the momentum and reach the Grand Final.
