The League of Legends World Championship (Worlds) 2025 has recorded its highest viewership peak during the fourth quarter-final match.

T1’s victory against Anyone’s Legend hit a peak of 3.27 million viewers according to esports data platform Esports Charts.

In total, the last quarter-final of the season-ending event peaked at 3,272,573 viewers.

The quarter-final eclipsed the previous peak (2.5m viewers) by 700,000 as fans tuned in to see T1 secure a place in another world championship semi-final.

Following the conclusion of the quarter-finals, Worlds 2025 has already cracked the ten most-watched League of Legends esports tournaments in history. Ahead of the semi-finals, it has recorded 90.3m hours watched across its 75-hour airtime.

Co-streamer Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont holds the top spot in viewership on an individual channel, peaking at 288,615 viewers during his broadcasts.

The popularity of T1 has been evident throughout the duration of the tournament. The South Korean esports organisation features in four of the five most-watched matches, with each of them peaking at more than two million viewers.

T1 aims to make an unprecedented run to its eighth world championship final after starting the tournament in the Play-In phase. If the team can win the tournament, Lee ‘Faker‘ Sang-hyeok will secure his sixth Worlds victory, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest esports players of all time.

What Next?

With the final four teams decided, attention turns to the semi-finals taking place on November 1st and 2nd.

On November 1st, Mid-Season Invitational 2025 champions Gen.G takes on KT Rolster, while T1 competes against Top Esports on November 2nd.

The winners of each semi-final will advance to the Grand Final, taking place on November 9th in Chengdu’s Dong’an Lake Sports Park.

As Worlds 2025 continues to break viewership records, the event may continue to reach new peaks as it reaches the final stages.
