The ePremier League returns with new format

The Premier League and Electronic Arts (EA) have announced the latest season of the ePremier League, part of the EA Sports FC Pro circuit.

Now in its eighth season, the competition comes with a new format, where players will compete for a £100,000 prize pool and guaranteed spots at the 2026 FC Pro World Championship.

Registrations for the ePremier League are open for UK-based players aged 16 and above, allowing participants to represent a chosen online club.

There will be three online Open Qualifiers running from November 26th to 27th, December 3rd to 4th, and December 10th to 11th. These qualifiers offer players the chance to climb the Club Leaderboards and reach the Playoffs in January next year.

Successful EA FC 26 players will compete in the Playoffs from January 14th to 22nd, 2026. It will feature a Double-Bracket Elimination format, and offers a direct pathway to the ePremier League’s Group Stage.

This season, clubs can sign EA FC 26 players directly to the Group Stage through Fast Tracking. Furthermore, a club’s performance in the Group Stage will determine its seeding in the Knockout Stage.

The Group Stage runs from February 28th to March 1st, 2026, where clubs will face off in one versus one matches before the Knockout Stage.

The final weekend of the season will feature the Knockouts on March 28th and the Finals on March 29th, featuring an updated bracket format where one team will emerge as this season’s champion.

This season will also see new clubs join the ePremier League, reflecting their real-life performance. Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland were promoted to the Premier League last season, and so will be featured as clubs for UK players to join.
