BETBY is set to make history at ICE Barcelona 2026 by bringing together three of the biggest names in chess for a one-of-a-kind activation.
Magnus Carlsen, along with Hikaru Nakamura and Levy Rozman (GothamChess), will meet up live in Europe, marking their very first joint public appearance.
The event will take place on January 20th inside Fira Barcelona Gran Via, where visitors will have the chance to watch the chess phenoms up close.
Carlsen, a five-time World Chess Champion and widely regarded as the greatest player in history, currently serves as BETBY’s global brand ambassador.
He will be joined by Nakamura, the current world number two and a five-time US Champion, along with Rozman, whose GothamChess YouTube channel has over 7m subscribers. Rozman has played a major role in bringing chess into the mainstream audiences through streaming and online content.
A Major Milestone in BETBY’s Chess Partnership
This activation is a pivotal moment in the second stage of BETBY’s ongoing global campaign with Carlsen, titled ‘Leaders Choose Leaders’.
The campaign aims to establish BETBY as a reliable partner for iGaming operators by drawing a comparison between strategic excellence in chess and business decision-making.
