Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that it will be opening more premium tickets to the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Championships 2026.
The ticket sale will be live from December 7th at 3:30 PM PST / December 8th at 8:30 AM JST, where fans can secure a spot in Apex Legends’ crowning event.
The gaming publisher shared that it was opening up more premium tickets due to popular demand. As a result, EA is reworking its seating plan to accommodate more attendees at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME in Sapporo, Japan.
EA also added that a limited number of upgrades will be available this weekend for fans who have already purchased a GA ticket.
Tickets can be purchased through the ALGS Global Championship ticket storefront. A four-day premium package with seat selection, giveaway items and a souvenir badge costs JP¥15,200 (~$96.65/£72.60).
ALGS Championship 2026
The ALGS Championship is the crowning event of the Apex Legends esports circuit. The best teams from across the regions compete to be crowned the Year 5 champion before kickstarting the next season.
40 teams, from Alliance in EMEA to 100 Thieves in Americas, play from January 15th to 18th, 2026, for the lion’s share of a $2m (~£1.48m) prize pool.
The competition is split into three different stages. It begins with the Group Stage, where teams are split into four groups of ten and play a single six-match series against every other group. The competition then moves on to the Bracket Stage on Saturday, to decide the final 20 teams that will advance to the Finals.
The Match Point Finals will take place on Sunday and consist of a single Match Point format series, where the first team to reach the 50-point threshold and then secure a first-place win will become the ALGS Year 5 Champions.
Various teams have earned the title of champion over the years, including the Year 4 underdog victors GoNext Esports, but only time will tell which team will come out victorious in 2026.
